If moonlight had a melody, it might sound something like OceanHeir. This heart-stealing indie pop duo is the dreamy brainchild of multi-platinum producer Damian Kotwica and silken-voiced singer Antonio Greger—yes, the same Antonio you may know from Milky Chance. Together, they are OceanHeir: a pairing as poetic as their name suggests. Kotwica, known for crafting sonic stories behind the scenes of BoJack Horseman, brings cinematic flair to their sound, while Greger adds emotional depth that feels like a warm hug on a cold night.

Their release, “Honey Moon,” which came out on March 28, is a velvet-draped slow dance between eras and genres. There’s a vintage soul at its core—jazz-brushed, blues-tinged, and glowing with R&B warmth. The track simmers in a lush atmosphere, the kind that blooms after dark and lingers like perfume in the air.

Guest vocalist Sammie Riie enchants on this one. Her voice, somewhere between the dreamy haze of Lana Del Rey and the emotional grit of Amy Winehouse, pours across the track like honey into warm tea. Her delivery is both sultry and sincere, wrapping around each lyric with a sleepy elegance that turns pain into poetry.

The production is exquisite—nothing overbearing, just perfectly placed elements that let the song breathe. Smoky piano chords drift over a slow, deliberate rhythm, conjuring images of an old jazz lounge at midnight. There’s restraint here, and that’s the magic: Kotwica’s production allows the emotion to rise naturally, never forcing the mood but rather inviting you to sink into it.

“Honey Moon” feels like falling in love under sepia skies, like the kind of song that makes you pause and feel something. With this track, OceanHeir doesn’t just make music—they create moments. And this one? It glows.
